The VERICO Network picked up a lot of hardware at the 2016 CMA Gala, a testament to the excellence and professionalism present throughout VERICO’s membership.
The night started off with a big win for Shane Bruce of VERICO ACME Financial with the CMA for Best Marketing Effort of the Year. This was yet another award won for his firm’s 2015 marketing campaign, which included the production of a reality TV series, the use of multiple media outlets and partnerships with local realtors.
“Winning this award is incredibly beneficial to the ACME business, brand, and brokers,” says the proud broker-owner. “Not only does it validate our efforts, it also lets our local client base know that we perform on a national level and can beat out the big guns.”
There is no doubt that Bruce’s leadership, and the success experienced by ACME in the past year, have rightfully earned several recognitions and awards. Back in November, ACME Financial won Mortgage Professional Canada’s Marketing Campaign of the Year. The evening before the CMA Gala, Shane Bruce was also recognized as one of the Top 50 CEOs in Atlantic Canada by Atlantic Business Magazine.
His reality TV series was not only a strategic business initiative – it turned out to be a ratings success. Bruce is now casting for the second season of Open House Newfoundland. “The added exposure has brought more clients and more revenue to my mortgage professionals,” adds Bruce, “so it’s a winning investment.”
Over the years, Bruce has taken several measures to ensure the continued growth of his business – and joining the VERICO Network has been fundamental to ACME’s continued success. “Since joining the network, we have seen a significant increase in our revenue and the VERICO tools have been a big part of that.”
Taking a moment on stage to acknowledge the support given by VERICO – which also won the CMA for Network of the Year for the 3rd time in 4 years – Shane Bruce gave special recognition to Martin Marshall, VERICO Eastern Sales Manager. “He’s the best rep in the business, and I’ve dealt with a lot of them over my career,” stated Bruce.
“The VERICO Head Office has always been supportive – without their support, just applying for these awards would have been much more difficult.”
